Children's Ministry Programs

The Bible tells us in Psalm 127:3 that children are a gift from the Lord. This God-given trust is vitally important to us all as we care for and teach your children here at FBC. Parents, volunteers, and staff play an essential and influential role in making God's love real to all the children in our care. Children are recognized as a very special gift. We value each of them as unique and special, to be cared for, nurtured, and shown the love of Christ.

This is the place to be for our energetic, fun-loving pre-teens in grades 5 and 6! Here they can "hang out" with friends their own age and learn about Christian living, in both large and small groups. We worship, learn Scripture, play games, and talk about growing in our faith. AWANA

AWANA is a non-denominational, internation, Bible-centered youth organization designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to boys and girls and train them to serve Him. The acronym "AWANA" comes from 2 Timothy 2:15: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. Awana is held on Wednesday evenings at 6:15pm. Click here for more information.

Children's Choirs

We have two children's choirs: pre-school (Cherub Choir) and grade school (FBC Kids' Choir). Twice yearly, at Christmas and in the spring, both choirs present a wonderfully inspiring musical that appeals to children and adults as well. These fun, upbeat presentations are always great outreach events for our community. Click here for specific locations on Sunday evenings.

Family Events

Several events/programs throughout the seasons that will bring families together and encourage them to connect with each other, grow in their Christian faith and serve the community during fun, family-centered activities.  Some of those events include: Family Serve Backpack project, Sundae's at the Park and more. Keep checking for more to come. Click here for the Children’s Event Calendar.

Summer/Winter Camps
Boys and girls in 4th-6th grades have the opportunity to attend a week long or weekend camp and spend time with their peers in God's great outdoors.  These camps provide a positive environment where children can get away from their regular, day-to-day distractions and focus on God.  For many, their camp experience proves to be a turning point as they make spiritual decisions to accept Christ as the Lord of their life. For more information on upcoming camps, please contact the Children's Ministry office x107.
