Don serves as an abortion counselor. Don spends his time talking with people outside abortion clinics in Stockton. He also reaches people through radio ministry. He has a passion to save as many babies as possible. He has opportunities to speak to high school students through Family Life Classes where he presents the pro-life position and the worth of each individual life. Tom and Anita are representatives of Family Life Ministry. They lead national marriage conferences around the world. They also develop the Family Life materials for international use by taking God's blueprint for the family and making it culturally relevant to people in other countries. Rich and Jenny travel to various bike runs and rallies for the purpose of evangelizing and discipling. At these events they might man an information booth or a first aid station or help lead Bible studies and worship services. Randy and Colleen minister to unchurched youth. Randy recruits, trains and supervises Young Life in Northern California and Nevada. Colleen helps with club ministries. Pray for a successful and fruitful summer camping season…that many young lives would respond to the love that they receive and the truth that they hear. Randy desires to get more Young Life clubs started in smaller cities. Pray that God would connect him to the people whom God has prepared for the task. Jeff is the area director of Love, Inc., a division of World Vision. Love, Inc. is a network of volunteers from local churches who give their time and talents to help people in practical ways. As director, Jeff recruits churches who in turn recruit volunteers. He also runs a clearing house which is staffed by church volunteers. He continues to expand "Gifts in Kind" through which surplus inventory is donated by local businesses and manufacturers for use to meet needs in the community. Terrence is the Director of Training for KBM. Terrence and another co-worker are in charge of developing and leading "Plan A" weekend conferences. Terrence also oversees "The Institute" a three month intensive discipleship program for college age students, and the internship programs and the youth conferences in Africa and India. Terrence is also participating in the "Barnabas Speaking Institute." This program is a training and mentoring program for itinerate Christian speakers. Keith & Nancy are founders of Metro CareLink. Metro CareLink is designed to assist churches in the Sacramento metropolitan area in fulfilling their calling to be salt and light in the world. Metro CareLink seeks to help local churches develop a strategic plan to share the gospel through a balance of proclamation (preaching the Word) and demonstration (acts of compassion). This will be accomplished through planning seminars with church leadership, educating laity through curriculum, researching and building relationships with local ministries and organizations, connecting churches to community projects and unifying churches in community-wide outreach.
