Wildwood is Hume Lake’s discipleship camp for students who wish to push themselves beyond the familiar into a world of exceptional devotion to God. Wildwood’s philosophy of stripping away the layers of falsehood and distraction is evidenced in daily interactions and candid discussions about students’ lives, struggles, and answering God’s call for deeper devotion to Him. Set in the back forests of Hume’s property, Wildwood emphasizes overcoming obstacles and learning to discipline oneself in response to the challenges of life.
We are taking applications from juniors (class of ‘16), seniors (‘15), and graduating seniors (‘14).
Though we would love for everyone to be able to go, we are asking for those interested to fill out this application to be considered for a spot due to the very limited availability of spaces this year at Wildwood.
FILLING OUT THIS APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A PLACE AT WILDWOOD.
Please give applications to Emily Arwood NO LATER THAN February 15th, 2015.
There will then be an interview process following the applications. You will be informed if you have been accepted by March 2nd, 2015 and will be instructed on how to register from there.
If you are not selected to go, please consider Ponderosa at Hume Lake as another option and be thinking of unchurched friends to invite as well! If you register for Ponderosa but are then able to go to Wildwood, any money that you have put towards Ponderosa can be transferred to Wildwood. Any applicants will be put on the waiting list for Wildwood and will be notified if we are able to get more spots.
