Born and raised in Sacramento, I grew up in a family of five enjoying sports, friends, and music throughout my younger years. Now I’m married to an amazing woman, Krista, and enjoy every minute of raising my little girl, Sophia (born in 2009), my son, Elias (born in 2011) and our newest addition Silas (born in 2014). I enjoy playing sports (especially basketball), allowing my hair to do crazy things, and simply spending time with people. Krista and I relish in exploring new places, indulging in good food, playing games, and laughing at the ridiculously funny things that our kids do.

I earned my B.A. in Religious Studies at Westmont College of Santa Barbara and a Master of Divinity degree at Denver Seminary. I am amped and grateful to be a part of the ministry team at First Baptist. I believe in a mighty and gracious God who created us for himself and it’s such a pleasure to help students discover the life that is offered to every one of us through his Son Jesus Christ!

Growing up in Galt, I attended Galt High School where I was involved in theater, tennis and Christian Club.  I also spent a great deal of time participating in events at First Baptist, which I loved!  I left Northern California to attend Biola University, where I earned a B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Biblical Studies in December of 2011.  After graduation, God led me back to the Elk Grove community where I now feel so privileged to serve on the ministry team as the High School Ministry Coordinator.  Though some of my hobbies and interests have changed since my own years in high school, the youth at FBC have continued to be close to my heart.  I have a passion for God and His people.  I am so happy and blessed to be able to minister to and alongside the students.  God has done so many amazing things and I look forward to seeing His plan revealed in each of our lives!

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.  Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.  Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3

In 2010 I completed Discipleship Intensive Training at Joshua Wilderness Institute at Hume California. I am currently
a Junior at  Moody Bible Institute and working towards a degree in Ministry Leadership. I have been a leader for the Wildside Jr. High youth group.

I hope to see God continue to bless the youth at FBC and I hope that more people would be saved and that more students would grow deeper with God. And I would hope to see a generation not afraid to think big thoughts and dream big dreams in light of their infinite God.

It is an honor and blessing to be able to serve with such a Godly, compassionate and gifted staff here at First Baptist Church. I am a graduate of CSU Sacramento in Communication Studies and have lived in Elk Grove since 1993. I am the proud mother of two teens who love the Lord. Who could ask for more?! All I know is that God has great plans for your life!
