... then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. - Philippians 2:2-4
The goal of Small Groups is to provide an environment where people can pursue Christian maturity together. The purpose of Small Groups is to offer us opportunities to develop loving, authentic relationships with others and discover what it really means to live life together as the body of Christ, as well as to give us opportunities to spur one another on to good deeds and deepening faith.
Click the button below to search for open groups you can join. If you can't find one that fits, go ahead and click on any of the group links. On the next page, you will find an interest form you can fill out on the right sidebar. We'll make sure to contact you once a group opens up!
What To Expect
Our Small Groups meet for a trimester. During that trimester they come together weekly or biweekly to: fellowship together, pray for one another, study God's Word, and perhaps at least once during the trimester to enjoy a meal together, serve together in some way in our community or through a mission project, and take communion together.
Why A Trimester System?
We're using a trimester system, not only in our Small Groups but in all our Life Groups because it allows an obvious and easy entry point and exit point. Furthermore, it gives us the opportunity to offer a study that we do together as a church; it also allows people to join groups that can minister to them effectively at a point of deepest need or an area of potential growth when timing is critical. It works well with holiday and traditional school schedules and it gives us a time frame that permits leaders to take a break when necessary.
