Missional living is defined as “joining God and giving ourselves away.” Here at FBC we are committed to reaching out to our community, our nation and the world as ambassadors of Jesus Christ, sharing not only the gospel message but demonstrating his heart of compasssion through tangible acts of service.

Krazy ‘Bout Kirchgater
July 6-August 3

This will be our 6th annual school supply drive for this elementary school. Come by the volunteer board between July 6 and August 3 and pick a tag off the board, purchase the supplies and return them to the church on or before August 10. Join us in blessing the students and staff of this Title One school in our neighborhood.

Want a great way to serve as a family and make a tangible difference in a hurting world? Come, help us assemble 1000 kits that contain supplies that volunteers use to care for people with HIV AIDS in villages in Africa. Pre- register by clicking HERE. Ansari Task Force Meeting

Be part of a team of people who help us as a church develop, promote and advance our Ansari Initiative. The Ansari Initiative is a ministry of FBC that began in 2009. Our vision is to partner with national pastors and  provide financial, prayer and practical assistance to  them as they plant churches amongnst an unreached Muslim people group in northern India called the Ansari.

Community Exchange Bulletin Board
Need a job or do you know of employment opportunities? Need a room or home to rent or do you have a room or home for rent? Are you in need of a room or home to rent or have a room or home to rent? We have a community exchange bulletin board, located across from the library.

This is a service provided to our congregation to exchange information and resources regarding housing (rooms and single family dwellings) as well as job needs and opportunities. FBC Assistance Program
Did you know we have an Assistance Program to help our FBC families during diffi cult times fi nd community resources they need to maintain independence and dignity? This may include short-term fi nancial assistance, housing/shelter, fi nancial guidance, low-income referrals to utilities, etc.

Compassion in Action
Compassion in Action is a ministry where you get to touch a family in our church going through a crisis. Compassion in Action organizes a few meals just when people need to know they are not alone. What could be more rewarding than being the hands and feet of Jesus?! Hearts are warmed, tummies are fed and Jesus is seen when people reach out in this way. So if just once a month you could buy a meal, cook a meal, or help call people on the phone, this is a ministry for you!
