Ahhh, a new year. Don’t you just love it? A fresh start, a new beginning, a chance to make a change. Lose weight, spend more time in God’s word, eat healthier, save money, pay off debt, stop yelling at your kids.
Do these goals sound familiar? It’s a wonderful feeling, new years. If only it would last all year.
But the sad truth is, usually a few months later, my healthy eating habits are more like abnormalities, and I’m perpetually stuck in the month of February in my Daily Devotional Bible.
Sometimes I feel so far behind in my goals, that it seems easier just to give up and start again next year!
But recently, my husband shared something interesting with me. He told me to read this article. I did. And I think it will be my saving grace this year. Okay, maybe that’s a stretch. Only Jesus is our true saving grace. But what I read in this article, just might help me make it through this year, and the next, and the one after that, without feeling like a failure, and believe it or not, accomplishing a few of my goals.
Take a gander. I hope you will find it as helpful as I did! And together we can run the race with perseverance, not giving up!
