Caregiver With Kit

Equip AIDS Caregivers with the supplies they urgently need.

How can you help?

Build Caregiver Kits and write notes of encouragement to the caregivers on Saturday, August 21 from 9am to noon in the Auditorium.

Donate Caregiver Kits at $30 per kit, either by participating in our fund raising drive ''30 Days for Change" by putting aside $1 per day in the month of July or writing a check directly to FBC with Caregiver Kit in the memo line.

 

Our goal is to supply 1000 Caregiver Kits to equip and encourage the community volunteers who care for those living with HIVAIDS in Africa.

Why are we doing this?  AIDS is one of the greatest humanitarian crises of our time.  Caregiver kits are a tangible expression of Christ's unconditional love for those suffering from AIDS and an encouragement to those caring selflessly for neighbors and loved ones.

What is in the kits? The kits contain basic, practical items such as soap, latex gloves, and cotton balls tthat are inaccessible or unaffordable for the people who need them.

Who can participate?  Families, individuals, youth groups, small groups...this is a great activity for everyone from 4 to 94.

30 Days

for Change

Step 1-  Pick up a Gatorade bottle for $1 at the Mission Kiosk on Sundays, June 20 or June 27.

Step 2 - As you drink the gatorade, pray for those suffering from HIV/AIDS who need nutritional care. 

Step 3 - Place $1 per day in the bottle during the month of July. [$30 is all it takes to provide one caregiver kit.]

Step 4 - Return the filled gatorade bottle to the Mission Kiosk or the church office by August 1.

You can also write a check directly to FBC for $30, please write "Caregiver Kit" iin the memo line.
