Project: Our FBC team will be joining with a Uganda team from the Kampala Community Church and will go into villages around Mityana Baptist Church to do outreach activities targeting youth, share the Gospel and connect people to local churches, and conduct Bible teaching activities for women and children. The team will also visit a hospital, a medical clinic, an orphanage and a school. Julia Ditoiu - Julia is a Jewish Studies major at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. This summer she has the opportunity to go to Israel with Chosen People Ministries. The trip is from May 21-July 17, 2015. The primary emphasis will be on evangelism; but her team will also be involved in various tasks and service projects such as serving the poor and needy. Micaiah and Salem Palmer - Micahiah and Salem are students at California State Sacramento. They are part of a campus ministry called Chi Alpha whose goal is to "reconcile students to Christ: transforming the university, the market place and the world." These sisters have the opportunity to participate on a mission trip to Bangalore, India this summer (June 1-16, 2015). Some of the team projects include outreach at school assemblies, VBS, preaching in churches, and street ministry to children. The cost per person is $2,000. Their total combined cost is $4,000.
