Lopez family 2015Lopez Family (Rob, Cindy, Justin, Daniel) - Rob and Cindy Lopez will be leading a youth team to Peru this summer - June 1 through July 26.2015 with Teen Missions International.  Their 2 boys, Justin and Daniel, will be part of the team.  They start off with 2 weeks of boot camp in Florida.  At boot camp the teens prepare their hearts to serve through intensive spiritual training. They will also receive practical training related to their service projects. In Peru, their main project will be construction of a Sunday school classroom.  The students will also participate in evangelistic outreaches using puppetry, music and personal testimonies.  In Peru, they will continue to train spiritually through Bible studies, Bible memorization and special classes. A key goal of Teen Missions International is to help youth focus their hearts on God and learn spiritual disciplines, learn how to walk humbly with God, and learn how to deny self and love authentically. Pray that team will be united in love and purpose.  Pray that each member of the team will encounter God in a life changing way. Pray for mutual encouragement between the national Christians and the team.  Pray that they will be used by God to be bearers of light when they encounter darkness. Finally, pray that when they return home that they will continue to have a passion to grow spiritually and to be used by God in their circles of influence.

When we are aware of members of FBC going out on mission trips other than those sponsored by us, we will post information here so you can pray and support them too.
